Prince Celebration 2024 To Feature The Revolution, Morris Day & More

Prince Celebration 2024 will feature The Revolution and Morris Day among others.

Celebration, the annual gathering of Prince fans, is returning to Paisley Park and venues throughout Minneapolis during June 20-24.

Celebration 2024 coincides with the 40th anniversary of Purple Rain and will feature Purple Rain-themed programming throughout the weekend.

In partnership with First Avenue, Paisley Park presents The Revolution – Wendy, Lisa, Bobby Z, Brownmark, and Dr. Fink – will be performing in honor of the 40th anniversary of Purple Rain. The concerts will take place at the legendary First Avenue in Minneapolis on June 21 and June 22.

New Power Generation, which was Prince’s backing band, are also set to perform during the festivities.

The weekend will also include an all-day block party in downtown Minneapolis on June 22. There will also be conversations and themed panels, DJ dance parties and screenings of HD films from the Purple Rain era.

“We are excited to have the Revolution return to Minneapolis to celebrate Prince and the 40th Anniversary of Purple Rain! Along with Morris Day, we will celebrate Prince and his iconic history! Join us and Let’s Go Crazy!” said Revolution drummer Bobby Z.
