Kendrik Lamar released “6:16 in L.A.” on Friday (May 3), taking another dig at Drake just a few days after striking him with “Euphoria.”

The title of “6:16 in LA” seemingly refers to Father’s Day, which falls on June 16th this year. The track appears to take a dig at one of Drake’s sore spots of being exposed as an allegedly absentee father.

Lamar also uses the track to attack Drake on having traitors on his OVO squad. “Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me?/ Fake bully, I hate bullies/ You must be a terrible person/ Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it/ Can’t Toosie Slide up out of this one, it’s just gon’ resurface,” he raps.

Lamar says Drake is getting back-stabbed by his close ones. “100 n-as that you got on salary/ and 20 of them want you as a casualty/ and one of them is actually/ is next to you / and two of them is practically tied to your lifestyle,” he spits.

He also takes a swipe at Drake’s failure to find dirt on him by rapping, “It was fun until you start to put money in the streets/ Then lost money, ’cause they came back with no receipts/ I’m sorry that I live a boring life, I love peace.”

Finally, towards the end of the latest track, Lamar criticizes Drake for taking to social media to respond to the “Euphoria” track.

“You’re playin’ dirty with Zack Bia and Twitter bots/ But your reality can’t hide behind Wi-Fi/ Your lil’ memes is losing steam, they figured you out.”

According to reports, Jack Antonoff and his Red Hearse bandmate Sounwave co-produced “6:16 in LA.”
