The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in Toronto’s affluent Bridle Path neighborhood. When the police officials arrived, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound, described as having “very serious injuries,” who was subsequently transported to the hospital, according to Inspector Paul Krawczyk.

Authorities clarified that the victim was Drake’s security guard stationed outside the residence gates but couldn’t confirm whether the rapper was present during the shooting.

Following the shooting, the suspect reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle.

Meanwhile, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. However, this incident unfolds amidst an ongoing and intensifying feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Drake and Lamar have released several diss tracks recently, with the songs featuring both personal and professional jabs.
