Nashville Running Company’s Dry Creek Trail Races will be held on February 19 2017 starting at 8 am at Cheatham Wildlife Management Area, 2334 Headquarter Road, Ashland City, TN 37015. The cost to participate is $40-60.
Nashville Running Company’s Dry Creek Trail Races includes 3 distance options — a marathon, half marathon, and 10K+. The race is run entirely through Cheatham Wildlife Management Area — a scenic and expansive 20,000 acre natural environment just northwest of Nashville. With sections of fast, soft packed jeep roads, single track trails in the deep woods, a stream crossing, and only one significant climb (that magically becomes steeper the second time around for those running the marathon), this is the perfect course for trail pros and novices alike! The Marathon course is 2x the Half course which allows us to provide racers with Aid Stations about every 3 miles. The 10K+ is back for 2017. Racers will experience all of the beauty, stream crossings, and climbs of the full and half marathon course — with just fewer miles. Why is it called a 10K+? You get an extra mile or so for the price of a 10K — you’re welcome!
