On behalf of Chapter President, Dr Arie Nettles, of the Nashville Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Arts and Letters Committee, you are invited to ‘Literary Jazz Cafe: A Tribute to the Harlem Renaissance’ on Sunday, April 27th from 3-7 pm at the Bedford Event Center 4319 Sidco Dr, Nashville, TN.

This event is inspired by the novel ‘Harlem Rhapsody’ by Victoria Christopher Murray! 

“A gripping narrative, don’t miss this historical fiction about the woman who kicked off the Harlem Renaissance.”—People Magazine

The mission is to bring awareness of the arts to the Nashville community. Guests in their flapper dresses and suits will step back in time of the 1920s to a night of jazz by Sonja Hopkins, poetry from local talent, a walking Harlem Renaissance museum, a live DJ, dinner and a cash bar!
