POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT

Franklin Police are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a convicted felon who fled from police. 23-year-old Elijah Hardin got out of a car and fled from officers on foot during a traffic stop Friday night. He is a convicted felon and has a violent criminal history; he is out of jail on probation. Hardin is also wanted in other jurisdictions and may be armed. MAN CHARGED FOR SHOOTING AT OFFICERS

32-year-old Bryan Bowser was charged firing shots Friday night toward three Metro Police officers inside the garage of a vacant building at 50 Music Square West.Bowser eluded officers after running into the vacant building. Shots were fired after police identified themselves. Police recovered three handguns from his jacket pockets. He was also in possession of multiple rounds of ammunition. He is being held on a $111,000 bond.

POLICE LOOKING FOR BANK ROBBER

Metro Nashville Police officers are looking for a man who robbed the Fifth Third Bank branch in the 5500 block of Old Hickory Blvd. in Hermitage Friday afternoon. Police say the suspect walked into the bank and threatened tellers with what appeared to be a gun covered with a sock. The tellers complied and gave cash to the robber who then fled on foot. Anyone with any information should contact Crime Stoppers. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.


MAN HIT BY CAR IDENTIFIED

Metro police have identified 56 year old Kenneth J. Urbach as the pedestrian fatally injured after being struck by two vehicles Friday on Gallatin Pike at Ardee Avenue. He was out of the crosswalk when he was struck by a car driven by 31-year-old Victor Futrell. A black pick up truck then struck Urbach but did not stop. Anyone with information about the driver of the black pickup truck is asked to call Hit & Run investigators at 615-862-7713 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
