83 marijuana plants seized in Joelton; four arrested

Four people were arrested after Metro police officers found 83 marijuana plants on a property in Joelton. Officers were sent to the property in the 8300 block of Riley Adcock Road after a citizen tip. Brince Woods, 42, Cyndi Green, 26, Wendell Vaughn, 23 and Cory Wair, 19 were each charged for possessing marijuana plants. Woods was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Detectives seized 31 marijuana plants from the barn on the property and 52 marijuana plants that were stuffed in the back of a van. Metro police said the plants were grown elsewhere and then brought to the property.


1 dead in industrial accident at Nashville moving company

Authorities confirm one person has died in an industrial accident at a Nashville moving company. Yesterday crews were called to Alexander’s Mobility Services on Cockrill Bend Boulevard.A  Spokesman confirmed the person died on scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident were not known. Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified of the workplace fatality on Tuesday.


TBI Most Wanted: Man wanted for 2 counts of first degree murder could be in Nashville area

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to their Most Wanted list. Douglas Talley’s name appeared on the list last night, and investigators believe he may be in the Nashville area. Talley is wanted by Paris Police and the TBI for two counts of first degree murder. Talley is 51-years-old A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Suspect arrested in connection with murder at north Nashville motel

A murder suspect has been arrested in connection with a murder last month at a Nashville motel. 28 year old Lakeisha Ann Congoyesterday by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force on Seventh Avenue North. Police said Sherri Assele was shot and killed Sunday afternoon at the Days Inn on Brick Church Pike.
