Donald Trump is trying to give out pardons left and right! He said he was thinking about a posthumous pardon for the late, great Muhammad Ali, who was convicted in 1967 for refusing to serve in the military in Vietnam. So, Ali’s attorney, Ron Tweet was quick to reply via Twitter, letting the Trump know that the US Supreme Court overturned the conviction in 1971, so a pardon would not be necessary. Ali was still stripped of his boxing title, fined $10,000 and faced up to five years in prison. The overturn allowed Ali to box professionally again.
