The community is invited to bring their favorite canines and enjoy a Dog’s Day at The Hermitage, as the historic grounds and nature trails are opened to dogs and their families for the first time. Enjoy the preserved woods and historic landscapes with your family and then stop by the festival area for animal-friendly vendors, food trucks, music, a Kid’s Korner, Bark Park play area, and an adoption event with local area animal shelters!
The day’s itinerary also includes an educational talk with Williamson County Animal Control and a guided Hike the Hermitage walking tour (space limited). Sponsored giveaways will be happening all day from community partners!
Admission is $5 per human (dogs and kids 5 and under are free). Parking at The Hermitage is free. All proceeds will benefit Tails of the Trail and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, both 501c3 organizations.
