Be sure to mark your calendars for Worship in Pink (WIP) Weekend featuring the 10th Annual Pink Sunday Worship Service. WIP is a grassroots initiative that provides the opportunity for congregations of all faiths to spread the life-saving message about breast health and early detection in their respective congregations. The main goal of the program is to provide breast cancer awareness and education, increase the number of women receiving mammograms, and honor breast cancer survivors.

Saturday, October 8th – “Pampering with a Purpose” Health Fair
9am-2pm – American Baptist College’s Baptist World Center
Come by for free health screenings, makeovers, massages, mammograms and more.
Sunday, October 9th – 10th Anniversary “Pink Sunday” worship service to “Celebrate Life, Increase Awareness and Inspire Hope.”
4pm – Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church (Goodlettsville, TN)
A city-wide ecumenical faith service at Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church. World renown breast cancer researcher, Dr. Lisa Newman, will be the Messenger of Hope. Once again, music will be rendered by the Pink Sunday Community Choir.
