Angel Reese is letting everyone know she’s not balling like people think she is. In a candid Instagram Live session, the WNBA player revealed that her $74,900 salary doesn’t cover all of her bills – especially not her rent.

Reese stated, “I wouldn’t even be able to get a sandwich with that [income]. I wouldn’t be able to eat. I wouldn’t be able to live.”

Reese also shared that she relies on multiple streams of income – including endorsements and brand ambassador deals – to keep her lifestyle afloat. Her confession highlighted the financial reality for many female athletes, sparking conversation on the pay disparity in women’s sports.
