During Taylor Swift’s European leg of her Eras Tour over the summer, the pop superstar performed at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 18. Swift not only left her Welsh fans with music memories to last a lifetime, but the chart-topping singer also made a significant donation to an area food bank that ultimately provided meals for over 900 needy people. Swift’s generous donation to the Cardiff Foodbank wasn’t an isolated incident either, as the music star made multiple donations to local food banks throughout her recent U.K. tour.

Cardiff Foodbank wrote a post on Facebook on September 30, thanking Swift for her incredible generosity. “We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift not only for her generous donation, but for shining a light on the global issue of poverty. We have spent Taylor’s generous donation and are grateful to the continued support of the general public.” The Cardiff Foodbank also thanked Swift publicly with an Instagram post back on June 24 shortly after her Eras Tour show.
