The Weeknd is finally set to make his return to Australia in October of 2024. The After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour is hitting Australia at long last, after the Weeknd initially postponed his dates there before ultimately canceling all of his 2023 dates Down Under. The Australian leg stars with a two-night stand at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 5 and 6, then heads to Sydney for back-to-back shows at Accor Stadium on October 22 and 23. Fans in Brisbane and New Zealand – which were stops on the original tour itinerary – are left disappointed as those areas are skipped on the new tour.

These will be the Weeknd’s first shows in Australia since 2017, and he’ll be joined by Mike Dean and Chxrry22, along with Australian DJ Anna Lunoe. “I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn’t forgotten about you,” the Weeknd wrote. “When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!” (Billboard)
