Black Entertainment Television has announced Grammy award-winning global entertainment icon Usher will be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 BET Awards.

The coveted award commemorates industry pioneers who have powerfully shifted culture and the entertainment industry.

Surprise guests who will take the stage at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles will be announced soon.

BET Awards 2024 will air live on June 30 on BET at 8 pm ET/ PT.

As one of the best-selling artists in music history, with an illustrious three-decade career and over 80 million records sold worldwide, Usher’s impact on the industry is undeniable.

His groundbreaking albums, including My Way and Confessions have shattered records and earned him numerous accolades, including eight Grammy Awards.

Drake leads BET Awards 2024 nominations with seven nods.

Voting for BET Awards Viewer’s Choice Award begins on June 6 and ends on June 30 at 6:30 PM PT/ 9:30 PM ET.
