Jamie Foxx has reportedly entered one of the top physical rehabilitation centers in the country after being released from the hospital.
The actor has been getting medical care in Chicago since April, just a few weeks after suffering an unknown medical emergency in Atlanta.
TMZ reported that his family, including his daughters Corinne and Anelise, and Anelise’s mother, Kristin Grannis, were all in Chicago Saturday and Sunday to spend time with Foxx during his continued care.
Still unclear what medical emergency he suffered, but this facility specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab, and cancer rehabilitation.
Sources connected to Jamie say he’s “recovering well.”
Despite his medical issue leading to his replacement on Fox’s Beat Shazam, Foxx’s daughter Corinne hinted at a new music game show called “We Are Family” coming to the network next year.
According to Fox Entertainment, the series will feature non-famous relatives of celebrities “performing duets with their hidden famous family member” as a studio audience competes to guess who the celebrity is.
Nick Cannon and guest DJ Kelly Osborne will co-host this season of Beat Shazam, which is scheduled to debut next week.
