Who runs the world? According to Forbes magazine’s new list of the 100 Most Powerful Women, the answer includes Beyonce, Rihanna and Taylor Swift. RiRi is the highest-placed musician on the list, at number 73 — a spot she garnered thanks to the $1.4 billion valuation of her empire. If you’re keeping score, that makes her the 2031st richest person in the world. Tay landed at number-79, thanks to the massive success of her new Midnights album and her recent slew of re-recorded classics. Forbes also pointed to the over-the-top sales of tickets for her Eras tour. Financially speaking, Taylor is “only” worth $540 million. Beyonce followed just behind Tay at number-80. Forbes cited her huge influence on the musical world via releases like Lemonade and Renaissance, as well as her fashion world sway. The mag estimates her net worth at $450 million.
