We will finally get a full, verified account about the making of Michael Jackson’s Thriller album.
Sony Music, Michael Jackson’s estate, and music historian Nelson George are teaming up for an official documentary about the biggest-selling album of all time.
According to a press release, the film “takes fans back in time to the making of the record-breaking album and release of revolutionary short films that redefined the music video format and captivated audiences globally.”
The documentary promises “never-before-seen footage and candid interviews.”
Thriller will celebrate its 40th anniversary in November. No official release date for the film has been given.
