BET HIP HOP AWARD HONOREES

A couple of hip hop icons will be honored at next week’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Trina will receive the I Am Hip-Hop award on Tuesday night in Atlanta. She says, “I am honored to receive and accept the 2022 I Am Hip-Hop Award presented by BET… As a legend with over 20 years in the music industry, consistency and unity have contributed to my Rockstarr power as a femcee. I believe when one woman wins, whether it’s in front of the camera or behind the scenes, we all WIN. Let’s keep winning!”

The BET Hip-Hop Awards will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Loud Records and founder Steve Rifkind. Dead Prez, Fat Joe, M.O.P., Remy Ma, Three 6 Mafia, and Wu-Tang Clan are slated to take the stage to pay tribute to the label.
