The award-winning rapper will produce a series with the streaming giant.
Megan Thee Stallion is venturing into television after inking a first-look deal with Netflix. According to Deadline, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper will produce a tv-series and other projects for the streaming service.

“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories,” the recent college graduate stated, “so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix. Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
Megan, born Megan Pete, most recently appeared on Saturday Night Live, Good Girls, and HBO Max’s Legendary.
Over the last couple of years, Megan’s star power has risen drastically, and the Houston native has accumulated a plethora of awards, including 3 Grammys, 7 BET Hip Hop Awards, among others.

Currently, details are scant about the type of series Megan will produce, but Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s Head of Comedy, is proud to have her on their team.

“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey.”
