Tami Roman Addresses Shaunie O’Neal Reportedly Having a Smaller Role on ‘Basketball Wives’

Tami Roman broke down why the new season of BBW will be good.
Tami Roman felt like casting was a major issue for “Basketball Wives.” In her opinion, Evelyn Lozada made the show too negative. And she felt like Shaunie O’Neal was only loyal to Evelyn. So it was hard to be on the show. Even though she decided to leave “Basketball Wives” and focus on acting, she did admit she’d be open to returning if some people left.
Well, Evelyn will not be in the upcoming season. It’s also been rumored that Shaunie will now be on the show in a much smaller compacity
During an interview with Gary With Da Tea, Tami discussed why Shaunie being a main cast member and Executive Producer made things difficult. “In any type of business structure, it’s like you can’t go to your job, Gary, and curse out the d*mn supervisor. You can’t do that. And because she opted to be a cast member on the show. that’s where the confusion came in where people felt like well maybe I can’t say what I wanna say because she’s a cast member. And she’s one of the EPs so that’s where it got a little convoluted.”
She added, “For me, I just was like well this is what I wanna say and I’m gonna say it and we’ll deal with whatever the repercussions are after that but I gotta get this off my chest.”
Tami also thinks the change will help the show. “I read articles and stories where this new season that’s coming up she’s in a minimized capacity as a cast member. So that will allow the girls a lot of freedom to be able to interact amongst each other and really make the show good for the people who choose to watch it.”
