Lil Mo took to the streets of Instagram to demand an apology from Fat Joe for the disrespectful remarks he made during his Verzuz battle with Ja Rule.
After Mo and Vita hit the stage to perform with Ja Rule, Joe referred to them as “dusty b**ches,” and he even said Ja had to “go to a crackhouse to find them.”
Trust me when I say this ugly moment didn’t go over well on social media.
Fat Joe attempted to rectify his wrongs by offering a half-hearted apology.
It’s the “if” for me. Bro, you clearly disrespected them.
Lil Mo took to Instagram with a message for Joseph Cartagena:
I need EVERYONE to tell @Fatjoe he owes A genuine Apology… I don’t Live in A #CrackHouse , I’m Not A #Bxtch nor am I Dusty!!! #StreetCODE Women & Children is off-limits #Disappointed #Legend #FacultyMusicGroup@Woo__says
Fat Joe slid into the comments of the post to offer another (more sincere) apology:
I’m super sorry I love you and Vida i said sorry to your face before I left the building and to Vida, i was caught in the moment and I’m super sorry god bless
After all, was said and done…Remy Ma popped up to add her 2 cents to the mix.
@thelilmoshow Stop it Mo, you know damn well Joe ain’t on it like that. First of all …you, V, Shanti- or nobody had even come out yet- when he and Ja were going back & forth; we didn’t know who was in the back.
Second… I was in the car when you walked thru the parking lot and he hugged you, & showed mad love as usual…no need for your followers to tell him anything, as someone that personally knows you I’m sorry you were offended – you can call my phone; matter fact I’m gonna dm you my number in case you don’t have it anymore – but also as someone that personally knows Joe he was not intentionally trying to hurt anyone- it was a battle between friends that are like family, sidebar: #streetcode don’t do social media
Sometimes it’s best just to mind your own business.
Looks like Fat Joe lost the battle…and the war. SMH
Let’s rewind to Tuesday night as Lil Mo, Vita, and Ja Rule put in work below.
