DaBaby gets an Adidas shoe thrown at him, during #RollingLoud performance, and Twitter clowns him, some even thank the person who did it

At Miami’s Rolling Loud Miami music festival on Sunday, rapper DaBaby’s set was controversial for a number of reasons. The festival has been billed as one of the largest to take place since the pandemic began. Rolling Stone points out that the three-day festival “got every young person in the U.S. to Miami this weekend, too. They moshed, sang, and danced, warmly welcoming the acts back to massive stages.”

With artists like Lil Baby, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, Kaash Paige, Rico Nasty, and Don Toliver performing, it was DaBaby who made headlines with his homophobic comments and by introducing a controversial rap artist dressed in a costume.
“In a clip being circulated on social media from the event, he tells men who aren’t ‘sucking dick in the parking lot’ to put their phone torches on, while also reaching out to those who ‘didn’t show up’ with a sexually transmitted infection,” reports the Metro.

“He is heard saying, while pacing the stage: ‘If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of the deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two, three weeks, then put your cellphone light up.'”

“Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put a cellphone light them up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot put your cellphone light up. Keep it real.”
DaBaby was quickly slammed on social media about his ignorance about AIDS and STIs.

DaBaby also riled many when he brought Tory Lanez out for his set. “DaBaby was performing after Megan Thee Stallion, who Lanez allegedly shot in the foot last summer,” writes Vulture.”

Lanez was dressed in a mascot costume before removing it. “I’ll give somebody out here a million dollars if they can guess who is here,” he said as Lanez was helped out of his costume onesie, Vulture reports.

After Lanez appeared, someone threw a shoe at the stage.
