Diddy wants the feds to name his accusers in his sex trafficking case.
His lawyers filed a motion today in federal court saying that they can’t mount an effective defense unless they know who’s making the allegations against him. They argue that once they can ID specific accusers, there will be “voluminous evidence” that they were engaging in consensual sex — and thus, couldn’t have been trafficked.
The indictment against Diddy mentions only “Victim 1,” who seems to be Cassie, based on the allegations. However, his lawyers say that the government will be relying on many other accusers — and they need to know who those women are.
Also, they say that the indictment has triggered all those civil suits against Diddy — another reason they need names
