The man believed to be Tupac Shakur’s killer has been denied bond once more. Although Duane “Keefe D” Davis reportedly put together the $750,000 he needed through a deal with Wack 100, the judge rejected the proposal, questioning the source of the three-quarters of a million dollars. Lawyer Carl Arnold says, “We are disappointed with the court’s decision to deny bail to Mr. Davis, especially considering the thorough vetting by Konvict Bail Bonds of the funding source conducted before the source hearing… We firmly believe there is a lack of substantive proof that Mr. Davis intended to profit from his alleged connections to the case.” Wack says the money comes from his business, 100 Entertainment, and also promised to wait to interview Keefe until after the trial — suggesting a possible motivation for why he’d want to help finance this effort.
