Jake Paul is set to fight former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a boxing match that will be live-streamed on Netflix.
The bout is scheduled to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be available to all Netflix subscribers.
Jake Paul says, “My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”
He added, “It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard,” Paul said. “Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.”
Jake Paul has racked up a pro record of 9 wins, 1 loss, with 6 knockouts since his debut in January 2020. He most recently defeated Ryan Bourland via TKO on March 2. Tyson has a pro record of 50 wins, 6 losses, with 44 knockouts.
