LIZZO UNDER THE GUN AGAIN

Lizzo and her team are facing another lawsuit — with some allegations that sound similar to the suits filed by her back up dancers.

Fashion designer Asha Daniels says wardrobe manager Amanda Nomura bullied and harassed her, and she was fired when she complained. Daniels says Nomura would do stereotypical impressions of Black women and call the dancers “fat,” “useless” and “dumb.” She alleges Nomura also forced them to change in front of mostly white, male stage crew who would leer at them.

Daniels says when she complained about what she alleges was going on, she was fired. The suit alleges sexual harassment, racial discrimination and failure to prevent a hostile work environment, among other accusations.

Lizzo’s lawyer denies the charges, calling the filing “a bogus, absurd publicity-stunt lawsuit.
