Netflix disrespected Nicki Minaj by not including her in the upcoming docu-series, Ladies First: A Story of Women in Hip-Hop.
How can you tell the history of hip-hop without Nicki? The upcoming documentary features legendary entertainers such as Queen Latifah, Da Brat and Remy Ma. As well as artists currently on the charts like Ice Spice, Saweetie and Latto.
However, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill and Nicki Minaj are not featured in Women in Hip-Hop because they wouldn’t allow their music or videos to be licensed for the series.
