ICE CUBE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Ice Cube is taking a firm stance against AI.

‌In a new interview, the West Coast legend makes his intent clear to sue any and everyone who uses technology to create music using his voice or likeness without full consent. He told the hosts of the Full Send podcast, “I don’t wanna hear an AI Drake song… I don’t wanna hear that [BS]. He should sue whoever made it.”

‌When and if he finds himself in the same situation, Cube vows, “I’mma sue the [MFer] who made it and the people and the platform who play it… It’s like a sample, you know what I mean? Somebody can’t take your original voice and manipulate it without having to pay. I think AI is demonic [and] I think AI is going to get a backlash from organic people.”
