FORBES MOST POWERFUL WOMEN

Who runs the world? According to Forbes magazine’s new list of the 100 Most Powerful Women, the answer includes Beyonce, Rihanna and Taylor Swift. RiRi is the highest-placed musician on the list, at number 73 — a spot she garnered thanks to the $1.4 billion valuation of her empire. If you’re keeping score, that makes her the 2031st richest person in the world. Tay landed at number-79, thanks to the massive success of her new Midnights album and her recent slew of re-recorded classics. Forbes also pointed to the over-the-top sales of tickets for her Eras tour. Financially speaking, Taylor is “only” worth $540 million. Beyonce followed just behind Tay at number-80. Forbes cited her huge influence on the musical world via releases like Lemonade and Renaissance, as well as her fashion world sway. The mag estimates her net worth at $450 million. The single most powerful woman in the world? That would be European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen
