Drake and The Weeknd are sticking to their boycott of the Grammys.
Neither artist submitted songs for Grammy consideration.
Both Drake and The Weeknd had albums to choose from. Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind, and Abel’s DAWN FM could have been used.
The Weeknd’s Grammy beef is well documented. After his smash album After Hours received no nominations for the 2021 Grammys, he tweeted, “The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans, and the industry transparency…”
Drake received nominations last year for Certified Lover Boy and “Way 2 Sexy” but withdrew them both.
