Kanye West Says Kim Kardashian ‘Accused Me Of Putting A Hit Out On Her’

Ye took to social media to let his ex know that he’s ‘not playing about my Black children anymore.’
Kanye West posted a screenshot of a text in which he claims that his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, accused him of trying to have her killed, Yahoo! reports.
The post — which was posted on Sunday, February 6 — and appears to have been deleted, stems from the rapper’s allegation that Kardashian routinely prevents him from spending time with their four children. The screengrab exchange, which he said was with Kardashian’s cousin, reads, “Send me Kim’s number.” But that message went unanswered.
Ye, as the Grammy-winning artist is now known, then explains the situation. He captioned the post: “Yesterday Kim accused me of putting a hit out on her.”
“So let me get this straight. I beg to go to my daughter’s party and I’m accused of being on drugs, then I go play with my son and I take my Akira graphic novels and I’m accused of stealing,” he said. “Now I’m being accused of putting a hit on her. These ideas can actually get someone locked up. They play like that with Black men’s lives, whether it’s getting them free or getting them locked up. I’m not playing about my Black children anymore.”
Also on Sunday, West, 44, posted another series of exchanges, with someone he said was his ex’s cousin. The chat suggested that Kardashian’s cousin took Ye’s side in one of the couple’s public disputes. West has said their daughter North West shouldn’t be on TikTok, but the chat went off the rails when the cousin asked about his Yeezy sneaker line.
“This is an example of Kim’s cousin agreeing with me about TikTok, then proceeded to ask me for some Yeezys,” he wrote on Instagram. “Afterwards, her other cousin Kara called me saying she agreed with me then said she would speak out publicly, which she never did, then she suggested I take my medication.”
He continued: “My dad didn’t have money or a public voice when my mom destroyed me and his relationship. I do this for every parent on either side whose kids’ futures are being one-sidedly controlled. I don’t even have the right to get angry as a father without being called erratic. I gave that family the culture. If they as a whole unit keep playing games with me, I will take that culture back. A father should never have to beg for the location of their children.”
On Friday, February 4, West sharply criticized Kardashian for allowing North to have a social media account, E News reported.
“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot of the 8-year-old’s latest TikTok video, “I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?”
