‘The Equalizer’: Rick Ross Makes Primetime Acting Debut, Thanks Queen Latifah

The rapper plays Gregory “Dilemma” Blickman, a rapper who’s incarcerated and attempting to clear his name, in the show.
Rick Ross made his primetime acting debut as the Miami rapper guest starred on the latest episode of The Equalizer starring Queen Latifah.
Ross announced to his fans on his Instagram on Sunday (Dec. 9), just hours that he would be making his appearance as Gregory “Dilemma” Blickman, a rapper who’s incarcerated and attempting to clear his name, on the CBS-developed show.
Teasing a clip from the episode which featured Rozay’s Dilemma, Robyn McCall (Latifah), and Detective Marcus Dante (Tory Kittles) sitting at a table in a prison to discuss Dilemma’s dilemma which causes him to shed a tear.
“Much love to the icon @queenlatifah for the opportunity. Check out my major tv network acting debut,” Ross captioned the clip of episode 9 titled “Bout That Life.”

The rapper who just released his latest album Richer Than I Ever Been last year, also was featured on the Rap Radar Podcast in December to talk about his first-time acting gig and shouted out Queen Latifah yet again.
“She gave me a real opportunity, not just on some — some real lines I’m just tapping into this,” he said. “And just her response to how I’m moving, she gave me a lot of credit for it and I’m just thinking as I walk away, “Wow, who could’ve imagined this!” I didn’t recite [any] lines or read the script until that morning.”
This isn’t the first time Ross has shown off his acting abilities, fans might remember the “Sum Different,” artist in Starz’s Magic City series back in 2013 playing Butterball, a Bolita mobster boss in Miami.
