Tamar Braxton Says ‘Braxton Family Values’ Is Returning: But Not On That Foolish Network

Braxton Family Values is making a comeback, according to Tamar Braxton.
The reality star and Grammy-nominated singer revealed her family’s show is returning to the small screen. – but it won’t be on its previous home network Wetv.
She said during a recent appearance,
“How many of y’all miss ‘Braxton Family Values? What if I told you ‘Braxton Family Values’ is coming back? Not on a foolish network, I can tell you that.”
She added,
“The true depiction of a Black American family is not a bunch of foolishness. The other part of the truth is, I ain’t finna let the devil use me like that – for people’s entertainment purposes. It’s a no for me dawg.”
She ended with,
“I’m not saying families don’t go through stuff ’cause we do. I’m not saying that we’re not ratcheting ’cause we are. But only we can tell our story.”
In the most recent season of BFV, which premiered last year on Wetv, the sisters faced drama as they battled COVID-19, and Trina Braxton tied the knot.
Tamar Braxton has been vocal about her disdain for Wetv in the past.
In December, she cleared the air about her shocking suicide attempt in July 2020. She told Taraji P. Henson on Peace of Mind With Taraji that she thought about her son Logan, 7, and believed he would be better off without her.
“Logan was the reason why I made that decision. I just felt like he deserved better. I felt like I was embarrassing him, being a fool on TV.”
When asked if she thought Logan would be better off without her, she affirmed:
“I thought in that moment.”
She continued:
“Because I knew that’s not what my whole life really was. That’s not who I was. I didn’t want him to be embarrassed in front of his friends. Here is this loudmouth ghetto mama.”
She later took to Twitter to call out Wetv for the role the network played in her mental and emotional downfall.
Tamar Braxton’s journey with WeTV began roughly 10 years ago when she and her sisters (Toni Braxton, Traci Braxton, Trina Braxton, and Towanda Braxton) first starred in Braxton Family Values.
She and her now ex-husband also had a spinoff, Tamar and Vince. Most recently, Tamar Braxton starred in her own series, Tamar Get Ya Life, which aired on the network.
