HUNDREDS OF IMMIGRANTS HOUSED IN CAGES IN TEXAS

Trump’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy is in full effect. There are hundreds of immigrants housed in cages in a facility in South Texas, where the lights stay on 24 hours a day, water and chip bags litter the floor and foil sheets are used as blankets.  Many children have been separated from their parents. The Border Patrol said close to 200 people inside the facility were minors unaccompanied by a parent. Another 500 were “family units,” parents and children. Many adults who crossed the border without legal permission could be charged with illegal entry and placed in jail, away from their children. Organizations, human rights advocates and church groups are calling this inhumane. Uhhh…..ya think??
