St. Anselm Episcopal Church, a family oriented church that over the past fifty-five years continues a close relationship with Fisk University, Meharry Medical College and Tennessee State University, is having its first ever PET BLESSING SERVICE Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Joining us in this special recognition of the special place pets have in our lives is Crossroads Connections, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in the Historic Germantown neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee with a passion for improving the community and the world around us by bringing neglected animals and youth together to learn from each other and heal together.
The Blessing will be at 12:00 noon on the church’s front porch. Prior to that will be Registration so that pets and their guardian/owners will be matched for Blessings. Prior to and after the Blessing will be bubbles catching for doggies, pet grooming services (first come, first served), and complementary consultation with an on-site veterinarian, treats for furry friends and hot dogs for humans. Our inaugural PET BLESSING SERVICE is offering fun, tasty treats for the well-behaved as well as the not-so-well-behaved, and promises enjoyable memories for all!
