The Easter Bunny Smack Down!

Palm Sunday turned into fist Sunday at a mall in Jersey City, New Jersey when Easter festivities spiraled out of control into an all-out brawl between a customer and the Easter Bunny.

The costumed Peter Cottontail is seen in a video, taken by a stunned onlooker, pulling off his over-sized head and throwing punches at a woman and other shoppers. Just moments before the brawl, he was meeting children and posing for photographs. It’s not known what sparked the melee, which lasted about 30 seconds before mall security broke it up. There’s no word on whether charges were filed, but it’s safe to assume that the Newport Centre Mall is in search of a new Easter Bunny. (NY Daily News)
