Cuba Gooding Jr. got a sense of what it was like to be in O.J. Simpson‘s shoes—and underwear—as he shot a scene in character for FX’s American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. As you can see from these set pics, the Oscar winner was waving a gun as he ran from a white Ford Bronco like the one made during that infamous 1994 slow-speed car chase.

The entire first season of American Crime Story, a new anthology series, will be focused on the high profile trial in which a jury found O.J. not guilty of murdering ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
