Reporter, Photographer Fatally Shot During Live Report In Virginia

ROANOKE, Va. – A gunman shot and killed a reporter and a photographer during a live report in Virginia, Wednesday morning.

CBS News reports the incident happened at the Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta.

Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a reporter and cameraman for CBS Roanoke affiliate WDBJ-TV, were killed in the shooting.

The entire incident was captured on live TV.

WDBJ-TV reports that deputies from Franklin County and Bedford County were called to the scene.

The search is underway for the gunman. No additional details were known.
