Mt. Zion 12th Annual Business/Career Opportunity Expo

MT. ZION BAPTIST CHURCH SEEKS TO IMPROVE THE
NASHVILLE JOB MARKET

While we hear that the economy is improving, the reality is, there are still thousands of people in search of employment. The Bureau of Labor Statistics cites that the United States has added 1.4 million new jobs since the beginning of 2014 yet according to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, 6.6% of Tennesseans are still unemployed. If you’re amongst the thousands of individuals wondering how you’ll find employment in this challenging job market, you are invited to attend Mt. Zion’s Twelfth Annual Business/Career Opportunity Expo.  This free event will be held on Saturday, October 4th from 10a.m. – 3p.m. at Mt. Zion’s Antioch location, 2261 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN  37217.

This is an awesome opportunity to successfully network with hundreds of actively hiring companies, business owners and universities who will be on hand to accept resumes and conduct on-the-spot interviews.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church, pastored by Bishop Joseph W. Walker, III, is committed to “become an oasis of hope within the Nashville community, by promoting and providing education, awareness, as well as financial independence.”, an excerpt extracted from the church’s mission statement.

In the past, Mt. Zion has featured over 150 vendors/employers. Businesses interested in showcasing their unique products and services to the Middle Tennessee Community are encouraged to register as a vendor for the Expo at www.mtzionnashville.org. A free Trade Show Etiquette class will be offered Thursday, September 25th from 6:30p.m. – 8p.m. at Mt. Zion’s Antioch location.
